Activities
The National Capital Region (NCR) which encompasses Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi and a few other cities has emerged as an attractive destination for global and Indian companies to set up operations in the IT-BPO space.
The Delhi office for NASSCOM is the headquarters for the organisation as well as co-locates the Northern region team. The focus for NASSCOM at Delhi is to engage effectively with the members, build local activities, broad base national initiatives at a regional level, work with policy makers and academia and promote development of tier II cities.

Regional Council: Northern Region
Objectives
- To establish a vibrant and involved IT-BPO community, where members and individual special interest groups can interact freely with each other to share knowledge and industry best practices
- To set up a Noida outreach programme to enable NASSCOM members to engage with society, including educational institutions, police and administration, and the public
- The council has formed sub-groups to work on specific focus areas. The RC meets once a quarter to take forward the plans of the subgroups and to create an enabling ecosystem for IT-BPO companies located in Noida. The following Special Interest Groups are in operation:
- To support activities driven by the erstwhile Cybercity Welfare Association, now renamed as the Millennium City Welfare Association
- To enhance engagement with the Government of Haryana
