Deputy Director/Director IT Services

Basic Function / Job Responsibilities:
Programme Manage and Orchestrate a new IT Services Vertical and all its initiatives and charter at NASSCOM.
- Enable initiatives to help the mid to long term growth of IT Services Industry. Help prioritize NASSCOM’s charter and activities in consultation with all stakeholders, and the Vertical Council. Own the Planning and Execution of these initiatives in collaboration with Industry members and a cross section of NASSCOM Teams (Global Trade, Research, Events)
- Drive Market Intelligence on upcoming trends and future growth drivers globally, both on the demand and supply side of IT Services and be the Go-To-Person for NASSCOM Research Team on IT Services
- Stay upto date on the Global and Indian IT Services Industry Landscape and Industry Research, Analyst Briefings, and facilitate briefing to NASSCOM Members/Executive Council
- Drive programmes including Events, Roadshows, Seminars/Webinars, Social media, Customer Connect, to show case IT Services Industry and their Success Stories/Case Studies globally. Help develop Industry Collateral for external stakeholders, including Customers and Government.
- Indentify new customer segments and geographies and programmes to facilitate the Industry’s growth in new markets
- Be the Primary Contact to identify challenges and inhibitors for Growth, with respect to IT Services Industry and develop issues for Policy Advocacy in India and Globally, by NASSCOM’s Govt Affairs and Global Trade Teams.
- Increase and retain IT Services Members of NASSCOM and help augment NASSCOM’s revenue streams
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate would be a Post Graduate with over 15 years of experience in Technology Services Industry, in a customer facing Business Development, Sales & Marketing and Strategy role, with an experience in one or more geographies (US, Europe, Asia pacific).
The expected proficiency would be:
- Understanding of current and future Technology trends in Enterprises across different verticals and geographies and Services Opportunity
- Enterprise Customer’s Technology Purchase Cycle and Industry’s Go-To-Market Strategies and Service Offerings
- Experience in developing Growth Playbooks and developing 3-5 Year Growth strategies and execution plans in a IT Services major

This position will be responsible for handling this key initiative and lead the dynamic task force for the management of events.
- Lead overall management of the Events vertical at NASSCOM. This would encompass the theme, strategy, planning and execution of NASSCOM events both at the National and Regional level. Will be also responsible for communication outreach to all stakeholders
- Writing the content for all national events .Manage the quality of the content and build the agenda for the summits to help promote the brand NASSCOM
- Optimize processes to capture Industry Providers and data, streamline existing formats to increase member industry connect
- Build collateral for greater attraction of non industry providers also
- Build NASSCOM connect by leveraging digital and online coverage

The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Accounts & Finance
- Management of ongoing budgeting and forecasting processes and working with the programme teams to ensure their understanding and adherence to the budget
- Supervise the maintenance of books of accounts i.e., Cash Book, Petty Cash, etc.
- Establishing, maintaining, and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
- Recommending, developing and maintaining financial databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems
- Drawing up of the final accounts as required by Indian laws
- Act as the link between the lawyers, tax consultants, FCRA (Foreign contribution Regulations Act) advisors, Provident Fund agents to ensure compliance with FCRA, taxation and other non-profit related laws
