Avinash Vashistha is Chairman and GU Managing Director for Accenture in India. In this role, he is responsible for all Accenture activities in India and for the strategic direction, growth and development of the company’s business in this geography.

Before joining Accenture in January 2011, Avinash was Chairman and CEO of Tholons, a global strategic advisory firm for outsourcing, research, investment and education serving Fortune 500 and Global 1000 clients. Earlier in his career, he founded neoIT, an offshore advisory firm, and prior to that, led Nortel’s pioneering outsourcing efforts in US, UK and India.

He started his career with AT&T Bell Labs, USA and later ran European operations for Nortel Networks based out of UK. He is a pioneer in globalization and was instrumental in growth of the IT and BPO industry in US, India, Philippines. He is a known thought leader in the industry and co-authored the book “The Offshore Nation”.

His experience spans developing and executing strategies for services globalization, skills development and employability across countries in Latin America, Asia, Europe and North America.

Avinash is also a National Council member of CII. He is also on the Education Committee of FICCI. Avinash holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, a master’s in Computer Science from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Arizona.

Arun Seth has been Non Executive Chairman of Alcatel India since May 2011, Earlier with British Telecom India as Chairman last 18 years. He has helped drive Alcatel's leadership in India in the telecom sector especially around Green technologies and its IT and R&D activities. Has been on the Executive Committee of NASSCOM for the last 8 years and was the Founder Chair of the NASSCOM BPO forum and focuses on GreenIT and Software Products now.

On the board of TERI and TERI University – is the co Chair for the Sustainable Development Council and works closely with Nasscom On several boards like Dominos India, Cadista Pharma, Balmer Lawrie. Very passionate in the NGO sector – boards of Helpage India, Katha. and TiE. Charter Member of TiE and IAN and is an active angel investor and mentors many startups. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Kolkata, he is active in Alumni affairs.

Aruna Jayanthi is the Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini India. Capgemini India is one of the biggest business units of Capgemini group. Aruna oversees the operations across all the business units – Consulting, Technology services and Outsourcing services in India with a focus to increase the integration and performance of over 40,000 growing employee base.

Prior to assuming this role in January 2011, Aruna was the Global Delivery Officer for Capgemini Outsourcing, where she improved quality, productivity and profitability of Capgemini’s outsourcing operations worldwide.

Aruna has over 2 decades experience in the IT services industry and has worked in both multinationals and pure-play companies. She has worked out of Europe and North America and continues to travel extensively meeting customers, analysts and Capgemini staff, getting a pulse of customer expectations and market direction. Within a short period of being appointed CEO, Aruna has quickly made her mark in the world of Indian business. She was ranked 3rd in Fortune India’s list of 50 Most Powerful Women in Business 2012 and 4th in 2011. Aruna has also featured prominently in Business Today’s list of Most Powerful Women for two consecutive years 2011 and 2012.

Jeff White is President of India & SAARC and Leader of India Board for Cisco. White is responsible for Cisco’s sales and operations in the region in addition to leading the India Board which charts Cisco’s strategy and investments in India & SAARC.

White joined Cisco in 1997 and has held a number of leadership positions in the US and the Asia Pacific region across channels, IT, managed services, infrastructure, service provider and enterprise businesses. Prior to his current role, White was Vice President for Cisco’s Service Provider segment in the region, managing Cisco’s overall relationship, investment and growth strategy for segment.

White has developed a strong reputation for leadership, and a keen understanding of customer requirements and helping them transform their businesses through innovative service delivery models. Complementing his professional affiliations, White spends time working with not-for-profits raising money for charitable causes for underprivileged children and families.

Ganesh Lakshminarayanan is President of Dell India as well as Managing Director, Dell International Services (DIS) and Vice President of Global CSMB Services. While he leads the Dell contact centers business in his latter role, his primary focus as the President for Dell India is to coordinate the global strategy with local needs by bringing together the diverse functions and business units in a single, cohesive fashion. He is also responsible for driving strategies to creating a single Dell brand in India and facilitate Dell employees to fulfill the company’s purpose - to offer technology that helps people everywhere to grow and thrive. Ganesh joined Dell in 1999 and has held increasing responsibilities in various geographies, functions, and segments within Dell. Ganesh has an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University in Chennai, India.

Ravi Gururaj is Chairman & Co-Founder of Frictionless Ventures where he is building and investing in innovative software products primarily in the cloud, mobile, and big data segments. Over his 25-year career, Ravi has promoted an STPI unit exporting software components out of India, held product roles at Intel, served as Managing Director of the Trilogy Software GIC, and founded multiple successful software product ventures.

VMLogix, which he founded in 2004 was funded by Bain Capital Ventures and acquired by Citrix in 2010. At Citrix, Ravi served as Vice President Products in the Cloud Platforms group, was a member of the global Citrix CTO Office, represented the Citrix Startup Accelerator and was on the India R&D leadership team. Ravi is Charter Member of TiE Bangalore where he launched the Cloud SIG and is Co-Founder & Co-Chair of HBS Alumni Angels India chapter.

Ravi received his MBA with high distinction as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School. He graduated with honors as Benjamin Franklin Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania in the Management and Technology (M&T) program, receiving a B.S.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Moore School and a B.Sc. in Finance from the Wharton School. He was also a research scholar at the University of Edinburgh and schooled at La Martiniere for Boys in Kolkata. Ravi lives in Bangalore and is married to Sridevi Kalavakolanu with two daughters Anika and Anjali.

Rajan Anandan is the Vice President and Managing Director of Google India, responsible for all Sales and Operations in India. He joined Google in February 2011. His career includes global leadership roles at Microsoft, Dell and McKinsey & Company.

Prior to Google, Rajan was Managing Director of Microsoft India, responsible for all aspects of Microsoft’s software, OEM and services business in India. Under his leadership, Microsoft India was recognized as the Number 1 subsidiary among the emerging markets worldwide (China, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, South Africa and India).

Before joining Microsoft, Rajan was the Vice President and Country General Manager of Dell in India where he grew the Dell business from $250 million to over $800 million and also held several leadership roles including being the Executive Assistant to Chairman Michael Dell.

Before Dell, Rajan was a Partner with McKinsey & Company in Chicago. He holds an MSc from Stanford and a BSc from MIT. He lives in Delhi and is married to Radhika with a 6 year old daughter, Maya.

Neelam Dhawan is the Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard India. She has countrywide responsibility for revenues and profitability and ensuring the greatest leverage from HP’s Services, Personal Systems and Imaging & Printing businesses.

With a portfolio that extends to offshore activities, BPO, Software Engineering, Research and IT Services, Neelam is focused on shaping the company’s overall business agenda and leading its strategy and corporate development efforts to make HP the most admired company in India.

Previously, Neelam was the Managing Director of Microsoft India, a position she held from 2005 to 2008. During her tenure, she sharpened Microsoft’s strategic focus and improved its operating efficiency and execution, as well as its financial performance and customer focus.

Prior to this assignment, Neelam held a variety of successful leadership positions in leading Indian IT companies, including HCL and IBM. Neelam holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi and a Masters in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.

Suhas manages the Global Delivery Center in India, with responsibilities across operations, strategy and growth. His agenda includes the building of an industry-leading, technology-ready, customer-focused competitiveness for IBM’s Global Delivery engine in India for Consulting and Application Services.

Suhas has over 25 years of experience in the strategic deployment of IT for client organizations. His experience spans initiating, structuring and delivering large technology-enabled transformation projects, involving strategy review, process reengineering and large packaged and custom software implementations. Suhas established and led PwC’s SAP practice in Hong Kong and China, covering areas of Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources and Capital Life Cycle. Suhas subsequently established and grew the Global Delivery Financial Management Service Line in GDC India. Prior to his current role, Suhas was the Sectors Leader for GBS-GD India and responsible for the governance and management of all engagements for clients across industries.

Suhas has a Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute Of Management, Kolkata, and has completed the program in Leading Professional Services Firms from Harvard Business School.

Srinath Batni was inducted as a member of the Board of Directors of Infosys in May 2000. At present, he is responsible for the Delivery Excellence across the company.

He is a Director on Infosys China Board and Infosys Shanghai Board. He is the member of Infosys Foundation trust and Employees welfare trust.

He was with one of the leading Public Sector Heavy Engineering and Manufacturing unit for almost a decade since 1977. Then, he joined Infosys Limited in 1992.

Srinath holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Mysore University and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

As a first-generation entrepreneur, Mr. Reddy sensed the opportunity and established Infotech Enterprises with a vision to provide engineering services to global markets. Mr. Reddy successfully nurtured Infotech into a world-class, sustainable organization. Mr. Reddy is a proud recipient of an honorary doctorate from JNTU Hyderabad; Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Kanpur and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) CIE Leadership Award for outstanding leadership in advancing the use of computers in information engineering. Mr. Reddy is a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council since 2003. He also served as the Chairman of CII Southern Region. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT Hyderabad.

Dr. Mukesh Aghi has over 25 years of experience across diverse industries and geographies. Dr. Aghi has a proven track record of leading various international business organizations. Earlier he was Chairman and CEO of Steria Asia Pacific and Global Executive Sales Director. In his previous role he was founding CEO of Universitas 21 Global a venture of Thomson Corporation. He spent many years with IBM, operating in multiple geographies including India as its President. He was heading Ariba Inc. international operations from California and was instrumental in growing and building JD Edwards & Co. globally.

Dr. Aghi received his BA from Middle East College, Beirut, Lebanon. MBA from St. Andrews University and Ph.D. in International Relations from Claremont University in California. Dr. Aghi has competed in over 20 global marathons.

Bhaskar Pramanik is responsible for overseeing Microsoft’s sales, marketing and services subsidiary, provide overall leadership on all Microsoft assets in India and lead the company’s citizenship agenda

Bhaskar has more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Microsoft, he was MD at Oracle India. Prior to that, he worked for Sun Microsystems for 13 years as the MD in India and his last assignment was as Global VP, Commercial Systems at the U.S. HQ. At Sun, Bhaskar was instrumental in building the company’s presence in India. Bhaskar has held several senior management positions in Digital Equipment India, Blue Star Ltd. and NELCO.

Bhaskar is an engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur. He has attended the Advanced Marketing Management Program at Stanford University. He is a member of various committees in CII, MAIT, NASSCOM and was the Chairman of American Chamber of Commerce, Karnataka, in 2003-04. He is currently a member of the Executive Council of NASSCOM.

He is based in Gurgaon with his family. His wife, Madhumita, is involved with NGOs and is active with the ‘Teach India’ program. He has two adult children. His interests are photography and reading.

Mr Arvind Thakur is the CEO and Joint Managing Director of NIIT Technologies Ltd, a global IT Solutions and business services organization. He has led the business to the category of top providers. In 2012 he was conferred the prestigious Gold Stevie award as Executive of the Year in the “computer services” category.

He serves on the boards of the company’s overseas subsidiaries and domestic joint venture with ESRI Inc. He is also a director on an innovative venture, Hole-in-the Wall Education Ltd, enabling technology to be deployed for educating the masses, and serves on the Board of Management of NIIT University, a not for profit institution.

Mr Thakur graduated in engineering from IIT- Kharagpur where he received the Institute Silver medal for ranking first in the department. Thereafter he pursued post graduation in Industrial Engineering and started his career with BHEL, before joining NIIT in 1985.

Raman is fondly referred to as the “Father of the Indian BPO Industry” and has played a pivotal role over the last 22 years in promoting BPM in general and in establishing India as a preferred destination for Remote Business Processing in the Flat World.

Post pioneering off shore Back office capabilities for American Express and GE Capital (now Genpact) and Spectramind (now Wipro BPO) Raman established his fourth ‘startup’, Quatrro to fulfill underserviced and unaddressed needs of Mid-Market companies through Integrated Platform based services through a mix of incubation, acquisition strategies and leveraging ‘cloud architecture’.

Raman is a founding board member of the “Indian Angel Network”, board member of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Chapter in NCR etc. He was also appointed by the Indian Prime Minister’s Office to the Working Group tasked with developing recommendations to improve the supply of suitable talent to the IT & BPO industries. He is a recipient of several awards globally.

Vijay Ratnaparkhe is the President and Managing Director of Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Limited (RBEI), India. He has rich experience in diverse roles with Larsen and Toubro (L&T), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys and Bosch. Prior to joining Bosch, he performed various roles at Infosys including being global practice head for Oracle Applications and head of the Canada business unit reporting to the Infosys board of directors. He was instrumental in setting up the Oracle practice and attaining Oracle economy of over USD 200 Mio for Infosys in a span of 7 years. As a fast track leader, through his 8 years tenure at Infosys he won several awards for client service excellence and alliance with strategic partner.

Vijay joined Bosch as Senior Vice President at RBEI in the year 2006 and performed the role of COO. In 2008 he was posted in a global role at Diesel Gasoline Systems - Electronic Controls, Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany responsible for quality, processes and innovation. In his current role as the President of RBEI, Vijay has been instrumental in the growth of RBEI by 180% in just around 2 years. Always with the times, his business acumen has won him accolades with the Board of Directors of the Bosch Group, especially in the area of Strategy for Growth in Business.

Vijay holds a Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Bombay University (UDCT).

C P Gurnani, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Satyam. CP Gurnani (popularly known as CP) is the CEO of Mahindra Satyam and MD of Tech Mahindra.

CP played a pivotal role in the three year transformational journey of Mahindra Satyam and is spearheading the eventual merger with Tech Mahindra. An accomplished business leader with extensive experience in international business development, start ups and turnarounds, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, CP in many ways led Tech Mahindra’s transformation journey, where he contributed significantly to the company’s strategy and philosophy. His inimitable style of leadership combined with his sharp focus on customer experience has helped Tech Mahindra to emerge as one of the leading providers of IT Services and Telecom Solutions to the global telecom ecosystem.

In a career spanning over 31 years, he has held several leading positions with HCL Hewlett Packard Limited, Perot Systems (India) Limited and HCL Corporation Ltd. CP received a chemical engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela.

Rishad Premji is Chief Strategy Officer of Wipro's IT Business. In this role he is responsible for formulating the strategic priorities of the company as we move forward as well as driving all M&A.

Rishad joined Wipro Technologies in 2007 as Business Head in the Banking and Financial Services vertical. He championed Wipro's entry into the Mortgage area, leading to the acquisition of Gallagher Financial Systems.

Rishad also spearheaded the integration of Citi Technology Services following Wipro's acquisition of the Citibank captive. Later moving to Wipro Corporate, as Head of Investor Relations, he helped scale up the systems, processes and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to joining Wipro, Rishad worked with Bain & Co in London. He also worked with GE Capital in the US and is a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program. Rishad has an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated with a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University in the US. He has also spent a year at the London School of Economics. He is on the Board of the Azim Premji Foundation and Wipro GE.
